Welcome to On Target New Mexico serving Varsity Scout Teams of the Boy Scouts of America in New Mexico! On Target is an activity carried out each year in which Varsity Scout teams climb mountain tops and communicate with each other with signaling mirrors and radios. You can join this group to become a full partner in providing information for other New Mexico teams to use for this activity and to stay abreast of what is happening. Multiply will not spam your email as near as we can tell. This year (2011) we are trying a distinctly low tech approach which means you call the coordinator and get on the list of teams on peaks or attend the Sandia district roundtable to learn and sign up. The coordinator will send out compiled information as the event approaches. More generally you can sort through historical information by clicking on the appropriate tag entries in order to sort items by specific year of interest. Blog entries tagged by "peaks" give some information on possible locations to go or not to go. Please add whatever information you have on useful peak locations that may help units decide where to go.
